The  BIOTEC-BVT vertical axis wind turbine has a specific design that makes it a versatile , efficient and environmentally friendly product.

• Our turbines are very quiet: At a distance of 10 m at full capacity, noise level is approx. 42db which in fact can hardly be heard as the wind at that speed produces far greater noise. • Shadow flicker, disco effects, and radar- and radio-wave disturbances do not arise with our systems.
• Produce up to 30% more power than conventional wind turbines of the same size.
• We can produce our special gear-less generators for areas with more or less high winds, exactly according to the conditions at the location. (All data based on our standard models.)
• Energy is generated starting at wind speeds of 2m/sec, depending on the model.
• Continues to operate with very strong winds and turbulences, giving greater hours of operation.
• More turbines can be installed closer together in a smaller area.
• Can also be installed on roofs, as the type of construction results in hardly any noise and very little vibration. Electricity can be produced where it is needed.
• Can be used isolated from the national grid. Here we recommend our Gel Accumulators. Using your exact data we can calculate the capacity of the accumulator required.

Our vertical wind turbines are not restricted to the direction of the wind. Because of that, energy can also be produced with always changing wind directions or low winds.
